Profile List Reorder?

Is it prossible to reorder the profile names? I've been finding it difficult to find the appropriate profile in the list because they are displayed in the order they were added. Is there some way to reorder the list? If not, would it at least be possible in a future version to sort them in the list presented?

thank you for your suggestion. Currently it is not possible to reorder the profile ist. We can add this to the "feature wish list" and it might me implemented in a future TurboPrint release.

There is a way to manually reorder the list: You could edit the file

/usr/share/turboprint/profiles/profile.lst

The sections

[ProfileXXXX]

refer to the color profiles. You can change the sequence of profiles in the user interface by changing the sequence of these sections (you do not have to change the numbers).

Manual reordering should work. I was worried about the profile numbers, so I'm glad I asked.

I forgot: to update the sequence also in the PPD (postscript printer description) file that is used by Linux apps for the print options dialog, please open a "Terminal" window and enter
