Borderless Printing Ubuntu - No Turboprint option in Gimp File Menu?

Hi!
I'm trying to get borderless printing working in ubuntu25.04, but I'm not having any luck at all. I am currently using the demo version of the app, as I'm evaluating whether or not to pay for the full version. I will have to go with other options if borderless printing does not work.
Printer is a canon pixma pro 200.
I did some googling, and everything says that I need to use the "turboprint" option in Gimp's file menu. That option does not exist for me. Gimp was installed via apt (not snap), and was present in the system prior to installing turboprint. I installed the turboprint deb file using apt, but also tried installing it directly via dpkg like the instructions said.
Printer prints, and the colors are nice, but even with setting borderless in the turboprint control center *and* ignore margins in gimp, I am not able to get borderless printing to work.
Interesting, cups can print borderless, but the colors don't look as good. I'm considering either just doing some work in gimp to improve the colors, or using a windows virtualbox instance just for art/photo printing... Those options aren't nearly as good, but they are free and they give me borderless printing.
