Installing turboprint 3 on Fedora 44 Asahi on Mac Mini

After I install turboprint 3 on my system I’m unable to run turboprint because it’s looking for libdouble-conversion.so.1 but I have .3 installed. I checked the current repositories but that version is not available. I might have the library name incorrect because I’m not in front of my system.

Hello harkrf,
thank you for your post, unfortunately, it is always difficult to configure all dependencies in such a way that they are compatible with most Linux systems.
As in your case the required .1 library version is missing, you can just create a symbolic link for it that point to the .3 version:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdouble-conversion.so.3 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdouble-conversion.so.1
You will need to adjust the path to the library to suit your system if libdouble is not located in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu.
Please let us know whether Turboprint then starts, or whether there are any further unresolved dependencies.
