Manjaro, Canon Pixma G600 error: pdftopdf stopped

EDIT - Fixed! Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same problem.
THE FIX: had to delete the printer from the TurboPrint Control Center, then re-add it, so that it built clean PPD configs for the printer.
-------
Printer was working fine last week, today it's not printing (even test pages).
Shows up in Cups with the error 'Idle - "universal filter failed."'
When I try to print, error in cups is '"cfFilterChain: pdftopdf (PID 8410) stopped with status 1"'
Have tried forcing cups package updates through the terminal, restarting cups, restarting the printer, restarting the PC.
When I turn logging on, I get the attached error.
Also tried running the following sequence of commands:
sudo pacman -Syu cups cups-filters libcupsfilters manjaro-printer
sudo systemctl stop cups.service
sudo rm -rf /var/spool/cups/tmp/*
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl enable --now cups.service cups.socket cups.path
Any help very much appreciated <3
