Setting Ink Limit?

Post by rupertlssmith »

Hi,

I'm not exactly sure what I am looking for on the ink limit test. It says choose the level where colors are most saturated but there is no bleed. What does no bleed mean?

Does it mean I choose the level where all the color blocks are still distinct from one another, that is colors don't appear to span multiple blocks with no edge between them?
Or does it mean choose a level below where the colors are actually bleeding out of the boxes into neighboring areas?

Thanks for the advice.

Hello,

you should choose the level where no bleading is visible and color blocks are distinct from one other.
