I can print the test page fine.
From gimp (2.2.4) or (1.2.5) all I get is ASCII instead of Postscript output. I've gone through the setup gyrations listed on the Turboprint site related to gimp and no go.
I'm going crazy with this and I'm sure it's something simple I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what it is.
TIA
Jim

Please check the print command in the GIMP print dialog. There should be no "-o raw" option, e.g. change
lp -d tp0 -o raw
into
lp -d tp0
Which printer are you using?

I'm using an Epson Sylus Photo R800.
I think I've got everything working after deleting everything, starting over and then rebooting the server.
Thanks for the response.

hey, thanks for the forum, I've been banging my head against this for 2 days.
dumb-assed gimp-2.2 keeps adding -o raw everytime I look at the printer setup and a hint pops up telling me not to remove it !!
If that happens all the time you probably need to add a waring to the install instructions.
